Mukla tišina,
dok na stablu pratim dah
pritajenog cvrčka.

dead silence
as I follow the breath of a cricket
concealed in the tree

Na izvor vodi
vilin konjic zajahao
mog mrkog konja.

water source
a dragonfly rides
my black horse

Iznad slapova
gradi nevidljiv most
pjesma slavuja.

above waterfalls
building an invisible bridge
nightingale song

Slapovi Krke.
Sunce se rasprskava
u pjeni vode.

Krka falls
the sun splashes
in the foaming water

Prije svih
piju vodu Krke
suhe trstike.

before everyone else
drinking the Krka waters
dry reeds
